Big black circles under your eyes. Words not coming out exactly as you intended them to. Reactions a couple of seconds behind. Sleep deprivation manifests itself physically in a lot of different manners. These tend to be the things that we really pick up on and are concerned about when we lose sleep. Turns out that the extent to which good rest affects us could extend to the mind also.

In a world where things happen faster and faster, things becoming more convenient, we seem to be losing time not gaining it. Some people compensate by cutting back on getting good rest. Despite the physical and emotional problems that might creep up, it seems like it might also cut back on our ability to take in the big picture. Get some sleep, your body AND mind need it.
