How do I take Celebrex medicine?
- Acute Pain: 400 mg at onset, then an additional
200mg dose on the first day if needed. On subsequent days,
the recommended dose is 200mg twice daily as needed.
- Osteo Arthritis: One 200mg dose once a day or one 100-mg dose twice a day.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA): 100 to 200 mg twice a day.
- Primary Dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cramps): 400 mg at onset, then an additional 200mg dose on the first day if needed. On subsequent days, the recommended dose is 200mg twice daily as needed.
